Simon Maddrell


Simon Maddrell was born in Douglas, Isle of Man in 1965 and brought up in Bolton, Lancashire, UK. He lived in London for 20 years and moved to Brighton & Hove in 2020. Simon explores existence through the lens of living as a queer Manx man, thriving with HIV. His debut chapbook Throatbone was published by UnCollected Press in August 2020. Simon’s pamphlet, Queerfella, won The Rialto Open Pamphlet Competition 2020 and was published in December 2020.
