Prognosis
You say October or that ember month
my fires will burn again in the healed place
Welded stove or mortared hearth
carefully and in tiny steps repaired
And no,
the summer is not wasted on me
I brave the light unknowing
Brave the thin line between living
and thinking about it
Exit strategies
A lover
a bucket
a pulley
a graft
Machete and compass
malaria shot in the arm
the missing vim
the satellite link
A cool glass of elsewhere
